Ningxia Medical University was established in 1958 on the approval of Ministry of Education. The Ningxia medical university has 16 secondary school, 5 affiliated hospitals, 12 teaching hospitals and 16 field practice bases.   The university has two campuses and has fostered over 20 thousand medical and health care graduates. 

The school has strong teaching staff, with
